Synopsis

Jean-Claude, 62, is one of the last lumberjacks in the Périgord, a region known for its forestry. For 50 years, he has tended the land and the forest, living in harmony with nature. A nature he never ceases to nurture. It is both what he respects most and what he makes a living from. Jean-Claude always works in silence, completely absorbed in what he is doing, yet he shares his knowledge with generosity and humor. This film portrays his daily life and invites us to rethink our connection to the environment.
