L\\u2019\\u0152il Vif Productions<\/strong> is a Toulouse<\/strong>-based production company founded by a group of producers with complementary skills and experience. We produce films for cinema and television in a variety of forms, from genre fiction<\/strong> to creative documentaries<\/strong>.<\/p>

Through the moving image, we aim to perceive and make manifest the complexity of reality. Our aim is to bring out the multiplicity of perspectives on reality, to trace paths, to map the places of the imaginary, and to blur the boundaries between fiction and reality.<\/p>

Committed to the decentralization of audiovisual production in France, we pay particular attention to the emergence of French and Occitan talent, as well as international filmmakers with atypical narratives and strong, cross-genre narratives.<\/p>

After graduating in management and then production at the Master 2 m\\u00e9tiers de la production in Montpellier, Jules learned the rudiments of the trade at Films Pell\\u00e9as, then did a stint on film sets and in distribution at Warner Bros, before joining Ladybirds Films in 2018 as an administrator. After a few months working alongside H\\u00e9l\\u00e8ne Badinter, he became producer and associate. True to the company's historical focus on creative documentaries, he also turns his attention to cinema and fiction. In 2022, he co-founded L'Oeil Vif Productions with Mouloud Ouyahia and Lucas Senecaut. Lucas S\\u00e9n\\u00e9caut is a director, author and producer who studied film and production in his hometown of Montpellier. He later worked at the Bophana Center in Cambodia, founded by filmmaker Rithy Panh. In 2022, he moved to Toulouse and co-founded L\\u2019Oeil Vif Productions, where he has produced or co-produced several fiction and documentary films that have been selected and awarded at Cannes Directors\\u2019 Fortnight, Clermont-Ferrand, IDFA, IndieLisboa, the Singapore International Film Festival, and Cin\\u00e9ma du R\\u00e9el. Khmerica, his directorial debut, is currently touring internationally (Special Mention at Visions du R\\u00e9el 2025, Champs-\\u00c9lys\\u00e9es Film Festival 2025, EDOC Festival). Lucas favors a diversified approach to his work, both local and international, ranging from creative documentaries to genre cinema, where the real feeds the imaginary. He is currently writing two new films, documentary and fiction. Mouloud Ouyahia grew up in Algeria, then moved to France before the age of 18. There he studied cinema and philosophy, then worked in documentary development for various production companies. He directed and produced his first film, La Maison br\\u00fble, autant se r\\u00e9chauffer, which earned him several festival selections, including the Quinzaine des cin\\u00e9astes, the International Short Film Festival in Clermont Ferrand and the Special Jury Prize at Indielisboa. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, USA, Jack arrived in France by chance in 2011. But it wasn't until he completed a Master's degree in Social Sciences at Central European University in Budapest that he discovered documentary filmmaking. Returning to Toulouse in 2019, he worked as an editor on documentary projects, and then discovered the world of fiction, working as production manager on a number of short films shot in Occitanie and elsewhere. Having crossed paths with L'Oeil Vif through editing in 2023, he joined the company in 2024, keen to apply his diverse knowledge to the development of local and international projects. Trained in foreign literature and civilization, Mathilde specializes in the Americas. This curiosity led her to Brazil, where she lived for four years. Initially a translator, then a subtitler, she began production at Marahu Filmes in Bel\\u00e9m, working on the film Amazon Mirror (Berlinale Panorama, 2020). On her return, she worked in documentary production at Ekla Production, then studied production in Serge Lalou's Master's program in Montpellier. Since then, she has worked in development and documentary production at Cin\\u00e9t\\u00e9v\\u00e9, before joining Les Films d'Ici to work on web series, TV unitaries and feature films. A graduate of ENERC (Argentina's National Film School) and ENSAV in Toulouse, Julieta began her career in Argentina with Ajimolido Films, as a production manager for auteur films with an international profile (co-productions with Panama, Brazil, Chile, France and Spain). She then moved to France, where she obtained a Master's degree in Production and worked in the documentary industry in Paris. In 2023, back in Toulouse, she joined the Oeil Vif team as a producer, with a particular interest in non-fiction, documentary and hybrid films. Lucas S\\u00e9n\\u00e9caut is a director, author and producer who studied film and production in his hometown of Montpellier. He later worked at the Bophana Center in Cambodia, founded by filmmaker Rithy Panh. In 2022, he moved to Toulouse and co-founded L\\u2019Oeil Vif Productions, where he has produced or co-produced several fiction and documentary films that have been selected and awarded at Cannes Directors\\u2019 Fortnight, Clermont-Ferrand, IDFA, IndieLisboa, the Singapore International Film Festival, and Cin\\u00e9ma du R\\u00e9el. Khmerica, his directorial debut, is currently touring internationally (Special Mention at Visions du R\\u00e9el 2025, Champs-\\u00c9lys\\u00e9es Film Festival 2025, EDOC Festival). Mouloud Ouyahia grew up in Algeria, then moved to France before the age of 18. There he studied cinema and philosophy, then worked in documentary development for various production companies. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, USA, Jack arrived in France by chance in 2011. But it wasn't until he completed a Master's degree in Social Sciences at Central European University in Budapest that he discovered documentary filmmaking. Returning to Toulouse in 2019, he worked as an editor on documentary projects, and then discovered the world of fiction, working as production manager on a number of short films shot in Occitanie and elsewhere. Having crossed paths with L'Oeil Vif through editing in 2023, he joined the company in 2024, keen to apply his diverse knowledge to the development of local and international projects. Trained in foreign literature and civilization, Mathilde specializes in the Americas. This curiosity led her to Brazil, where she lived for four years. Initially a translator, then a subtitler, she began production at Marahu Filmes in Bel\\u00e9m, working on the film Amazon Mirror (Berlinale Panorama, 2020). On her return, she worked in documentary production at Ekla Production, then studied production in Serge Lalou's Master's program in Montpellier. A graduate of ENERC (Argentina's National Film School) and ENSAV in Toulouse, Julieta began her career in Argentina with Ajimolido Films, as a production manager for auteur films with an international profile (co-productions with Panama, Brazil, Chile, France and Spain). She then moved to France, where she obtained a Master's degree in Production and worked in the documentary industry in Paris. In 2023, back in Toulouse, she joined the Oeil Vif team as a producer, with a particular interest in non-fiction, documentary and hybrid films.
